History

Renaisi has been in the business of urban regeneration for the past 10 years, working with some of the poorest neighbourhoods and communities across the country.  The cornerstone of our work has been designing and delivering area-based programmes, which have characterised much of government policy during that time. This has involved assembling local partnerships; designing, delivering and evaluating regeneration projects and programmes; undertaking research and analysis; formulating policies and strategies, and engaging with a wide range of diverse communities.  It is this experience and our understanding of the complex and dynamic relationship that exists between places and people and the interventions that are required to successfully regenerate communities has led to us being commissioned to develop and deliver 18 different SRB, NDC, NRF and Sure Start programmes across London.

With the demise of area-based programmes however, it is our work around neighbourhoods that matter.  Delivering improvements in neighbourhoods is what we are about and in keeping pace with government policy and market demands we have developed expertise and a good reputation for research and evaluation; evidence based strategy and the whole place shaping process; as well as best practice models in areas such as neighbourhood management and town centre strategies.  We have also developed a comprehensive economic development advice service and have built partnerships with planners and developers to change the approach to and the standards of services like Masterplanning and spatial strategies. We are proud of our growth and all that we have achieved over the past 10 years are looking forward to working with our clients and partners in the public, private and voluntary and community sectors to meet the challenges of the sector over the next 10 years…
