Kate Arnold is a Senior Marketing & PR consultant at Renaisi. She is currently delivering the communications support for EC1 New Deal for Communities (NDC). Her work involves managing strategic marketing and communications to engage a broad range of stakeholders including local residents, Islington Council and central government. She is responsible for the production and delivery of the NDC’s residents’ magazine, website, e-newsletters, special events and media relations as well as giving marketing and public relations support to local projects and organisations.
Before joining Renaisi, Kate spent three years working for a PR consultancy in Sydney, Australia. She managed a portfolio of clients including Coca-Cola, Virgin Mobile, Cadbury, Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG), Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and Osteoporosis Australia. Prior to that, she worked for Leeds City Council’s Promotions and Tourism department on initiatives to raise the profile of the city.
Kate has a degree in psychology, holds a Diploma in Communications, Advertising and Marketing (CAM), and a Professional Diploma in Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR)
Jessica is involved in the delivery of a number of NDC projects, particularly within the capital programme. She takes lead on a number of street improvement schemes, and has recently become involved in the build of the Three Corners Centre in south Islington, a new community centre providing a sustainable community asset for local residents. She has experience in community consultation events and involvement in the design and delivery processes of public space improvement schemes.
She also reviews and comments on planning applications within and around the NDC area and coordinates responses on large applications and developments on behalf of the NDC Board.
