Martha Lawson

Martha has been at Renaisi for 6 years and was recently the Revenue Programme Manager for EC1 New Deal for Communities (NDC) with responsibility for overseeing £4.7m of revenue projects, supporting and developing the projects to achieve the objectives of the NDC programme. Prior to this Martha worked for Tower Hamlets Partnership providing interim management for the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF) programme. This was followed by the Working Neighbourhood Fund, where she set up and delivered the commissioning and contracting stages of the £23.6m programme targeting worklessness in Tower Hamlets.

Martha previously managed Hackney Councils REAP programme which was a £1m capital investment into parks and open spaces in the boroughs Olympic wards. She has been involved in appraising and evaluating projects in various regeneration programmes including Shoreditch NDC and Woodberry Down/Stamford Hill SRB6. In addition, she has worked on a review of Waltham Forest Local Strategic Partnership, 3rd sector and BME involvement analysis’s within the Tower Hamlets NRF programme and has undertaken several pieces of research and evaluations for regeneration projects managed by Renaisi.

Before joining Renaisi in January 2006, Martha worked for London Borough of Merton in Adult Education Services and within the Local Government Directorate of the former Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. She has an Economics degree from Loughborough University and is a qualified PRINCE 2 practitioner.
