Neil is a Principal consultant with over 10 years of experience of community and economic regeneration. During his early career Neil worked in the North West and in Kent developing community enterprise development including management of community assets in both urban and rural environments as well as managing grant funding schemes. Neil began work for Renaisi in 1998 managing community development programmes for two SRB programmes in the London Borough of Hackney. This included developing and facilitating a range of community engagement activities including the management of local community forums.
Neil went on to be programme manager for the Heart of Hackney SRB programme before running the SRB 6 Access to Excellence programme in Newham. Neil has developed excellent project and programme management skills and has delivered training to a range of audiences on project development and management.
Neil returned to Hackney to co-ordinate the council’s work on the London 2012 Olympic Bid. Since the success of the bid Neil has be working extensively on developing the strategy for maximising the benefits of the Games to the borough, including the business case for resources, and he is currently engaged in developing a range of projects to form Hackney’s 2012 Programme.
