Jessica has worked at Renaisi for over three years, where she has spent the majority of this time working on the EC1 New Deal for Communities Programme in North London. Here she worked on the performance and research function where her responsibilities included monitoring projects, measuring project performance and impact, and using the information generated to ensure that the resulting knowledge is used effectively to improve programme delivery.
A Prince2 qualified practitioner, Jessica has been involved in the delivery of a number of NDC projects, particularly within the capital programme including the build of the Three Corners Centre, a new community centre providing a sustainable community asset for local residents, and the refurbishment of a Turkish Baths and leisure complex, both in South Islington.
Jessica is also involved in conducting research and evaluations of a number of projects and programmes. She is skilled at conducting qualitative research using data from a variety of sources, and is experienced in working with clients to identify and obtain project-specific data. Recent evaluations include an analysis of educational attainment interventions of primary schools within the NDC area, and a review of the provision of community facilities in South Islington. She is currently working on an evaluation of a national Community Libraries programme.
Jessica studied Geography and Social Anthropology at the University of Sussex and joined Renaisi shortly afterwards. Prior to her degree she spent time working on a conservation project in Kenya.
