Couldn’t agree more. The focus seemed to be on RCTs in the debate, but actually, useful means lots of things to lots of people. It needs to be about all kinds of evidence – and as you say, needs to be accessible to the audience it is supposed to be useful to.

I believe that a key word here is ‘accessibility’. There is of course value in the randomised control trials but the real value to the kind of worker you describe is making the evidence accessible and relevant to their work.
