LB Camden: Interim Management, economic development and regeneration

Jeremy Shapiro has been appointed as the Interim Town Centre Development Manager in Camden helping to implement the borough’s restructured town centre support offer. He will be working with business associations and traders groups in seven town centres to ensure that the council is responding to business needs and developing targeted interventions to support local retailers and services. Part of the role will be to work with the council’s business facing services to help coordinate their delivery at an area level and ensure they are in regular contact with local businesses. He will help to deliver targeted town centre support schemes through the £6 million Camden Recovery Fund. He will also feed into the development of the council’s broader town
centre strategy.
