Consultation and Engagement

Renaisi are experts in public and stakeholder engagement and participation.  We firmly believe in a society where local people are empowered to take and influence the decisions that affect their lives and recognise the importance of involving local people in how services are shaped and delivered. Our approach is based on extensive practical experience and theoretical understanding. We have designed and run large and small scale public participation processes involving local people, community institutions and mainstream providers using a wide range of different tools and methodologies.

These include:

/ Deliberative approaches including scenario planning exercises, open space events and deliberative planning workshops.

/ Participatory approaches including community led planning, customer journey mapping and expert panels.

/ Consultation approaches including interviews, surveys, focus groups and community engagements events particularly with the hard-to-reach and marginalised communities.

/ Web 2 approaches including the use of social media and digital technologies such as online consultations, Wiki sites, video ethnography, gaming and trade off tools.
