Renaisi: Caseworker

We’re an award-winning social enterprise with a simple goal: to spark change in place. We believe that the best way to do this is to ask a question: what does it take to improve a place? What makes us unique is the fact that we combine two things in one business: we deliver employment support, advice, connection and engagement services to individuals and we help social organisations, charities and institutions to deliver greater impact through our consultancy services.

Renaisi has been awarded a 7 year contract via Ingeus on the Work & Health Programme from Central London Works to support the long-term unemployed and early entrant benefits claimants with health conditions as barriers to the employment in East & South London into sustainable employment.

About the role:

As a Caseworker you will assist the long-term unemployed and those with health barriers back into the labour market by providing participants with direction through a specially designed menu of services.

You would spend your day working on a range of activities, including:

  • Engaging with our target groups and support participants through the employment programme, particularly through Job Centre Plus, the prime contractor Ingeus and the commissioning body, Central London Works.
  • Conducting initial assessments and refer ineligible participants back to the referring Job Centre Plus or alternative provision.
  • Acting as a single point of contact, you will provide information, advice and guidance services to participants on your caseload, including: face-to-face appointments and support sessions; producing action plans; assisting participants through our programmes of training and employment support.

For more information on the duties you will carry out, please refer to the job description/personal specification.

What we are looking for:

As much as we’re looking for someone with the relevant skills, knowledge and experience, we are also looking for someone who wants to make a difference to communities, organisations and places. We’re passionate about that and you’ll need to be too!

How to apply:

Please apply via our job portal with a CV and covering letter outlining your skills and experience against the job description/personal specification.

CLOSING DATE:  5pm on Friday, 25th January 2019   applications received after this time will not be considered.
