Big Local reps
Big Local reps are a group of people with experience and skills in working with local communities and they support Big Local areas.
Reps help residents by working with them to plan and achieve their goals, continuously looking for opportunities for residents to take the lead and be responsible for driving change in their area.
Local Trust assigns reps to work with areas through the early stages of Big Local – typically supporting them through stages 1 – 5 of the pathway until a Big Local partnership has been established. The partnership can then select its own Big Local rep to work with over the longer term.
There are over 70 reps in the Big Local pool, covering all regions of England, together with 14 reps who continue to work in existing Big Local areas. We have listed them by the region where they are based, although their work can extend beyond these areas:
- East Midlands
- North East
- North West
- South East
- South West
- West Midlands
- Yorkshire & Humberside
