Ade Adebowale

As Head of Place & Economic Inclusion, Ade uses accessible, inclusive approaches that enable people delivering place-based work to reveal, understand and deliver outcomes for progression and change.

About Ade

With over a decade of experience managing public and privately funded programmes, Ade brings expertise in overseeing operational and strategic functions to improve support for people who are long-term unemployed.

Ade is passionate about developing people’s skills and prospects by arming them with the tools and resources they need to thrive, and brings that passion to his leadership of frontline teams at Renaisi.

With years of personal and business banking experience prior to joining this sector, Ade uses his insight of financial frameworks, to advise clients on overcoming economic and social challenges and exclusion.

Ade has significant experience collaborating with training and employability providers and is confident in utilising and interpreting data to identify programme design solutions that empower people to access and maintain positive outcomes for themselves and their community.

Ade holds an Award in Education and Training (AET) qualification and is also a passionate social entrepreneur. He provides mentoring, advice, guidance and support to young Black adults who are interested in developing start up businesses.

Ade’s work at Renaisi

Ade leads on Renaisi’s place-based employment support and manages delivery of the Southwark Works programme, supporting older workers and those with ill-health into sustainable employment or in-work progression. 

Recently Ade has worked with local people and partners across South London on solutions for communities who are disenfranchised and underrepresented by intersectional health and employment inequities.
